We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Operator II (Night shift) for a 1-year contract in Kermit, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading oil and gas company and make a significant impact on production.

Role Overview

Monitor and improve production at well sites via provided vehicle Act as a Safety Leader and adhere to company's commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Perform inspections and maintenance on gas and oil wells, tanks, meters, separators, compressors, and attached piping components Operate and troubleshoot rental compressors, flowing gas wells, gas lift wells, testing wells, and sand traps Maintain chemical injection rates and perform start up and shut in procedures for wells Enter production data into computer databases and review outputs for accuracy Execute facility walk-throughs, manage changes (MOCs), and conduct pre-startup safety reviews (PSSRs) Complete regulatory work including agency testing requirements, change of status, and tank & meter numbering for new facilities Update piping & instrument diagrams (P&IDs) and site security diagrams for all new wells and facilities Respond to alarms after hours or when on call Implement all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures outlined in the company's Management System

Skills & Qualifications

Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills 3-5 years of experience in mechanical equipment use, maintenance, repair, and inspection Ability to work in temperature extremes and adverse weather conditions Willingness to work in multiple geographic locations throughout a single workday Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to climb heights up to 24 feet and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, and pulling Proficiency with computers and data entry Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of experience with oil and gas production practices, equipment, and terminology
