Multifamily Asset Management Senior Analyst (Hybrid – 3 Days in Office – VA)

We are looking a Multifamily Asset Management Senior Analyst to join the Structured Transactions group. This group falls within Special Servicing and handles asset management related functions for our most complex portfolio and securitized assets, including MF bond transactions. These bond transactions represent a multi-billion-dollar, long term portfolio exposure to Freddie Mac but also represent a significant commitment to some of Freddie Mac’s most meaningful corporate affordability objectives. The hired candidate will analyze, process, and manage a variety of consent requests, complete underwriting analysis, and work with legal counsel as appropriate. In addition, this person will exercise delegated approval authority for certain credit decisions on regular requests and recommend to management for circumstances that exceed their respective levels of authority. Analyze, process and manage complex transactions, complete underwriting analysis on borrower requests such as: loan assumptions, collateral substitutions, easements and other industry standard performing loan requestsHandle and process multiple requests simultaneously applying keen organizational skills and a high level of efficiencySupport initiatives for the teamSupport the process of reviewing and analyzing loan level financial and operating property information

Communication

Coordinate with external Servicers on post-closing Borrower consent requests and collateral changesLead loan compliance efforts for given deal securitizations by working with Servicers to acquire information, then sharing details with all relevant internal partiesProvide superior customer service while handling a large volume of requestsCommunicate effectively with Servicers and internal partners

Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experienceTypically has 5 to 7+ years of relative experience in commercial real estate finance and asset managementAbility to efficiently manage large volumes of requests and be a flexible teammateProficiency with Microsoft Office products specifically Excel and WordProven ability to work accurately on projects with specific goals and measurable deadlinesExperience building and maintaining positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external customersLIHTC experience is preferred, not required

Keys to Success in this Role:Interest in continuing to develop asset management skills; passionate about a variety of complex financing structures or unstabilized assetsExposure to a national MF real estate portfolioStrong verbal and written communication skills; with strong interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to prioritize and be proactive; must have excellent organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to understand complex legal documentsExperience with financial analysis and valuation

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $118,000 - $178,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
