Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Multifamily Project Manager to join our team in Naples, FL. This role involves managing multiple projects, reading and interpreting documents and contracts, writing and negotiating subcontracts, and maintaining project schedules. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in multifamily construction and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret documents and contractsManage multiple projects simultaneouslyWrite, negotiate, and award subcontractsReview and prepare subcontractor scopes of workDevelop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft ProjectAttend meetings and prepare minutesAssist in the estimating processReview and prepare change ordersDevelop and track submittals, RFIs, and cost reportsMaintain owner relationsResolve issues with win-win solutions and collaborationLead by example with honesty, integrity, and good judgmentTravel as needed for projectsEssential SkillsMinimum of five (5) years’ experience managing multifamily projects valued at $20M and higherExperience with ground-up construction, multifamily projects, and student housingExperience in concrete and block & plank constructionKnowledge of the Florida construction market preferredComputer proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to read and interpret blueprintsExcellent communication skillsAbility to direct complex projects from concept to fully operational statusHighly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented problem solverAdvanced knowledge of the design-build construction process including preconstruction, major system evaluations, estimating, scheduling, cost control, and designAdditional Skills & QualificationsCollege degree in construction/engineering field preferred but not requiredProven track record of successfully leading multifamily or wood-framed projectsMarketing and presentation skillsStrong local relationships with subcontractors, consultants, clients, and municipalities (preferred)Bilingual is a plusWork Environment
The work environment includes managing 3-4 story apartment projects in Naples, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $145000.00
