It operates nine donor centers in South Texas, distributing blood, plasma, platelets, and other components to regional hospitals and emergency first responders. It also provides starting materials to therapeutic developers, and clinical research services. Its apheresis center received FACT accreditation in 2022 for peripheral blood cellular therapy product collection. Y CPF Level: P1 Location: San Antonio Dept.: STB&T Administration Business Unit: STB&T **General Summary** As part of Donor Marketing & Community Engagement team, the Multimedia Content Specialist will be responsible for developing, writing, and maintaining content for various communication channels within South Texas Blood & Tissue. This position will also take on a wide range of assignments to develop materials for digital and printed media. Support, communicate and reinforce the mission and vision of the enterprise. Provide world class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer (internal or external, including donors for select positions) through multiple feedback channels in order to resolve issues and drive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes. It is essential that the incumbent have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old with a good driving record to meet organization driving standards. **Major Duties and Responsibilities** Essential Tasks Create content for a variety of media platforms including digital, social media, web, and print. Write news releases and feature stories to promote the mission of the organization in multiple newsletters, as well as on web pages, and social media. Manage, create, organize, review, monitor, edit and publish content for digital and social media channels. Crafts compelling post and ad copy that aligns with the company's voice, objectives, and target audiences. Assist with photography / videography needs for publications and digital post as needed for departmental and organizational needs. Assist with creation and production of printed and digital materials including event flyers, posters, social media content, and website graphics. Performs other duties as assigned. Non-Essential Tasks Maintain a close working relationship with Corporate Communications and BBG management. Provide excellent customer service for both internal and external customers at all times. Assist with the planning and execution of special events for donor and group recognition, ensuring adherence to budget and organizational standards. **Education** Requires an Associate Degree from an accredited college or university in a specialized area. The required major is Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or related field. Prefer a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or Comparable experience will be considered in lieu of education university. **Experience** Requires two or more years of job specific experience in graphic design, social media platforms in a business environment, or similar experience. **Knowledge** Must acquire a working knowledge of all STBTC services, and become familiar with all healthcare facilities serviced by STBTC. Must obtain a working knowledge of regulatory/quality requirements and perform within all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies. **Skills** Must have excellent collaboration and project management skills. Must be capable of operating motor vehicles in all types of weather conditions. Must have experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint and Excel. Must be capable of communicating well with multiple level audiences. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Prefer bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish.
