About KWCH:

KWCH/KSCW is currently looking to add a smart and self-motivated individual to our news team in Wichita, KS. KWCH is the #1 station in the Wichita-Hutchiason DMA, covering 68 counties in central and western Kansas. We are looking to expand our award-winning team to include Spanish-speaking presentations and reports throughout the market.

Job Summary/Description: 

KWCH seeks a dynamic and engaging Spanish-speaking bilingual MMJ/Presenter to help tell stories to our Hispanic community across Kansas.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Present content in both Spanish and English on a daily basis, ie PKGs, weather retracts, news block retracts
- Must be able to shoot & edit
- Must be able to work independently

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Native or superior Spanish language level; Advanced High English language level
- Able to simultaneously translate between Spanish and English
- Grammatically sound Spanish & English writing ability
- Basic journalistic, broadcasting, & presenting skills
