Summary: Nisga’a Tek is seeking a Multimedia Programmer III to design, create, manipulate and tailor graphics, images, sound, animation, video and text to create integrated multimedia programs using a combination of design skills and technical knowledge of digital products. San Antonio, TX highly preferred Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Provide programming support throughout the Project Development life cycle phases that serve both the development and implementation of courseware and multimedia products. Provide programming and multimedia support for training development projects. Implement training applications on various computing platforms and equipment configurations using government-approved software development tools. Modify, test and/or program training products using government approved multimedia applications. Design and modify code of interactive multimedia instruction to run in various user environments, such as CD-ROM, low-and high-bandwidth Internet, and networked electronic classrooms. Serve as consultant in selecting and recommending the proper combination of government-approved software programs and tools to meet complex learner need. Provide support for course SCORM implementation and learning management systems and other software programs identified in each individual task order. May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific project/task. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Programming skills and Capabilities: Programming SCORM conformant content packages (3rd and 4th editions) Multimedia/interactive content development Technical maintenance of courseware in accordance with user environment requirements Course programming Interoperability with Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as JKO, AtlasPro BlackBoard Articulate 360 Adobe Captivate JavaScript programming including the JQuery Core API Extensible Markup Language (XML) document and data encoding Representational State Transfer (ReST) protocol Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) information exchange HTML and HTML5 markup languages programming, including CSS Minimum Qualifications: Has over 10 years’ experience and/or a MA/MS degree or certification. Experience working in high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. Preferred Skills and Knowledge: Experience working with AI constructs and principles towards course integration The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $95,000 annually.
