Multimodality Tech - Big Sky (Casual Call)
Position Summary: The Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist delivers high quality MRI, CT, and X-Ray exams to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Independently Performs MRI, CT, and X-Ray procedures, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Minimum Qualifications: + Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent, and documented competencies in Radiology, CT and MRI + Montana Licensure (Radiologic Technologist) + American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced certification in both CT & MRI + American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire + Two (2) years of previous radiology experience + Two (2) years of previous CT and/or MRI experience + Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in health care related studies Essential Job Functions: + Performs quality MRI, CT, and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures for all patient populations, to include NICU, CCU & ED as requested by medical staff. + Operates independently, with limited to no supervision, while maintaining high attention to detail, customer needs, and high reliability. + Assists medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as may be requested and appropriate. + Performs ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures. + Completes documentation, in designated area, of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams. + Retrieves written orders and related health information to insure the timely performance and reporting of exams and procedures. + Participates in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of the hospital quality indicators as described in the strategic plan. + Expectation to support and train peers.
