Multiskilled Data Specialist, per diem

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Sources, tracks and utilizes COVID testing data to forecast and predict future testing and client needs. Provides Customer Service Support for all hospital clients for the COVID testing program.

EDUCATION: Associates Degree. Bachelor’s Degree ideal.  Preferred training in word processing/data entry/computer operation. Computer literacy required with experience in Microsoft Excel. Problem-solving skills as well as accuracy and attention to detail a must.

 EXPERIENCE: On-the-job training provided.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Organize, file, and maintain careful records of confidential lists, communications, and documents while complying with HIPAA guidelines for patient information Complete data processing, input, and output task with care and without errors.   Identify and rectify discrepancies in information using both insight about the process of data generation as a whole and available records and resources. Respectfully and effectively interface with team members in different roles in order to efficiently solve problems and successfully serve patients Successfully implement application of the Microsoft Office Suite and medical information software. Assists Laboratory/Specimen Receiving Team in obtaining all information required to process any/all specimens. Provides coverage for Customer Services as needed.
