SUMMARY
The Multisport Program Supervisor will oversee, continually develop, grow and manage the Multisport Program at Woodward PA. Supervise all aspects of the Multisport Program including staff, daily responsibilities, and develop a fun, interactive environment for campers. The Multisport Program Supervisor will support the marketing, content, and development of the Multisport Program sponsorship plan. The Multisport Program Supervisor will help support the overall Multisport industry relationships and developments.
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations involved in running the Multisport Program. This includes all scheduling, facilitating mandatory sessions, clinics, events and supervising all staff within the program. The supervisor will aid with parent-camper communications as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise 1-15 coaches, counselors and zone coaches by scheduling, directing, and reviewing performance
Execute proper disciplinary action if deemed necessary
Support in leadership roles including cabin checks, orientation, registration and meetings
Execute the Multisport Programming Playbook, including but not limited to camper scheduling, progression, curriculum, and sport programs/events
Support in VIP hospitality program
Support in content capture for key programming events; weekly camp awards, sports specific contests and programming
Other duties as assigned.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Well-spoken and articulate over the phone, through written contact, and in person.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision, agile, and able to pivot quickly.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:
Experience working in a camp environment is preferred
Some college preferred
Experience in action sports coaching required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+/- 15 employees
BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS:
As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.
Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.
Availability: pre-camp, summer camp weeks and post-camp
