Verdantas is seeking a Municipal Staff Engineer II. This position will be located in Newark, Ohio.
Responsibilities: Assist Project Managers with technical, and civil engineering design Perform technical engineering work associated with Municipal and Transportation Clients: Roadway Design Multimodal Design Stormwater management design Utility design Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors Support technical report writing and communicate outcomes effectively to team members and clients Collaborate with and observe contractors during construction
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution 2-4 years of experience in civil engineering consulting Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley Geopak/Openroads required Familiarity with stormwater modeling software is a plus Candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug test
