Kratos is seeking a software test lead engineer with a minimum 3-5 years’ experience for the Command and Control Systems - Consolidated (CCS-C) ground system as part of the CSAR program. The position includes support of dynamic, fast-paced projects that span all phases of the Software Development/ Software Test/System Engineering lifecycles, including requirement review/updates, test, and customer support. + The ideal candidate has several years’ experience with satellite telemetry and commanding, including EPOCH Product Suite and CCS-C MUS tools. + Candidate must show ability to effectively communicate with various team members, customers, as well as communicate with vendor support + Develops and improves operation procedures, scripts, for system testing + Define and propose SATCOM operational and operator requirements and design approaches to satisfy them + Interface with the customer and operational users to define operational requirements and propose solutions to address them + Effectively work with a cross functional engineering team + Travel as necessary to support system integration, testing, and customer meetings + Be a strong team player and leader to the project team and to the organization Required Experience: + Current Security+ Certification or required within 6 months of hire. + Software testing + Understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) + Candidate must be self-motivated and capable of working independently and with others. + Candidate must be able to articulate technical concepts orally and in written form. + Current Secret level clearance required + Required to either be able to obtain a TS/SCI, or currently have a TS/SCI Preferred Skills and Experience + 8 to 10 years’ experience in + EPOCH Product Suite + A software test environment, including regression testing + Knowledge of Command and Control Consolidated (CCS-C) system. + Knowledge of Air Force Test Regulations and experience in Air Force formal testing is a plus + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related fields + Current Top Secret level clearance, with SCI eligibility Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. #LI-Onsite Competitive salary based on experience and education Salary Range: $95,000-$105,000 Kratos is valued for our ability to design and deliver leading edge, resilient solutions for aerospace communication, control, awareness and mission success across a continuum of offerings—from commercial to tailored custom solutions and integrated programs.
