Responsibilities

The Musculoskeletal Division of the Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida (Mayo Clinic Florida) is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained musculoskeletal (MSK) radiologist to join our team of 6 dynamic, sub-specialty focused musculoskeletal radiologists. This is an incremental position that was approved to keep the pace with increasing MSK imaging volume. The position is full-time,100% MSK ideal for an academically ambitious candidate with strong diagnostic skills in all facets of musculoskeletal imaging including radiography, MR, CT, and US. The Musculoskeletal Radiology Division closely supports colleagues in Orthopedic Surgery, Sports Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Rheumatology, Oncology, and Pathology. 

The candidate will be expected to perform routine image-guided procedures (e.g. joint, bursa, and tendon sheath injections/aspirations, bone and soft tissue biopsies, etc.) and will also be expected to actively participate in resident and fellow education. Mayo Clinic Florida offers 2 MSK radiology fellowship positions annually and has a highly regarded radiology residency program with 7 residents annually. 

Advanced procedural skills (e.g. tumor and nerve thermal ablation, cementoplasty, etc.) are a plus. Candidates with specific interests in advanced MSK diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, peripheral nerve imaging, high field MR imaging, artificial intelligence applications in MSK radiology, and clinical research are also a plus.
