The Bicycle Museum of America, located in the historic downtown area of New Bremen, Ohio, is a local tourist attraction featuring one of the largest private bicycle memorabilia collections in the world. With more than 300 bicycles in store, and thousands more in rotating inventory, the museum has something new to inform and entertain every bicycle enthusiast.
Job Responsibilities:
Archive Materials in Museum - Archive incoming museum objects, books, pictures, articles and periodicals, which includes: scanning documents and/or receipts along with data entry of relevant information into database. Update Museum Displays - Responsible for keeping all displays looking new and fresh. Conduct Museum Tours - Greet patrons, take admission money, and guide patrons throughout the museum sharing information of the history of each display. Research - Perform patron research inquiries pertaining to bicycles. Build upon previous knowledge of museum objects through research and adding information to object files. Miscellaneous - Perform other duties as assigned as well as any additional duties that might arise in the daily routine consisting of cleaning, packing and unpacking materials.
Qualifications:
Less than 2 years related experience High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of counting money and making change. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Benefits are not applicable to part-time positions.
