The Role
CAA is seeking an assistant to support an Executive in our Tour Marketing department in New York. The ideal candidate is curious about comedy, podcasts, and overall tour marketing. The individual should have strong administrative skills in a high-volume setting and have the ability to multi-task. A successful candidate will be organized, energetic, and able to communicate confidently. The role combines administrative work with project management and requires a positive attitude. The candidate will work with touring clients and agent teams to prepare worldwide tours and manage marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
Communicate clearly on email and phones
Maintain Executive’s daily calendar
Act as the liaison between clients, management teams, promoters, labels, publicists, social media teams, media partners, and agents
Brainstorm unique marketing concepts
Organize announce and on-sale grids
Review artist websites, ticket links, tour posters, and social media accounts
Analyze ticket counts
Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in the live music industry, marketing, entertainment or related fields is preferred but not required
At least 1 year of administrative experience
Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Photoshop
Knowledge of social media and current digital trends
Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment and interface with client
Attention to detail, follow-up, and ability to be proactive
Strong social skills while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality
Education
• BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferred.

Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $20.00-22.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
