Assemble and TIG weld aerospace castings and detailsUse fixtures, tools, and gauges to produce aerospace parts meetings blueprint drawing tolerancesFollow detailed work instructionsPractice weld procedures per GE and Nadcap/AWS specificationsWork in a team environment, participate in Action Workouts, and contribute to the LEAN Manufacturing workplacePractice safe work habits and maintain a hazard-free work environmentQUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
Must have minimum of two years Gas Tungsten Arc (Heliarc) welding experiencePass Gas Tungsten Arc Weld test on nickel base, cobalt base and stainless steel alloys (groove and fillet welding per MIL-W-1595)Prefer 2 years of college or trade school background or professional industry equivalencyMust be able to complete qualification training on nickel and cobalt per AWS D17.1Good attendance, attitude and work habits will be requiredEmployee must have no disqualifications on his/her record for the past six monthsDesirable Qualifications:
