MVH (Mars Vet Health) BCM & Resiliency Senior Manager

Job Description:

As external threats such as cyber incidents, political unrest, pandemics and extreme weather continue to disrupt and impact our business operations; preparedness for unplanned events with a focus on building resiliency across critical business process is more important than ever before to ensure financial impact is kept to a minimum, to keep our promise to customers and to ultimately make a better world for pets. The BCM & Resiliency role governs the Program to ensure that as the Enterprise grows and transforms, the Program remains relevant to enable business growth and maintain market share.

Bachelor’s Degree in finance / Engineering / Business is preferred5+ Years’ experience in veterinary clinics and/or hospitalsRisk Management / Risk Strategy experienceExperience in collaborating with technology & operational teams.Process ManagementProgram ManagementRisk methodology (preferred)

What will be your key responsibilities?

Implement, maintain and optimize the BCM & Resiliency Program pillars across MVH; including the three Pillars of BCM;

(1) Critical Process Map (Business Impact Analysis), (2) Response, Recovery & Restoration Plans for the BIG 4 Impacts (loss of technology, loss of Associates, loss of critical third party vendor and loss of a primary location) and (3) Risk I.D. Mitigation and Status for each clinic, hospital, Region and MVH Global functions.

Drive, align and review Disaster Recovery priorities with the Global Leadership team in the event that technology requires restoration at multiple sites.Accountable for the performance and results of the IT Disaster Recovery (DR) Program for MVH including the Banners; Blue Pearl, VCA, Banfield and other acquisitions which is informed by the Critical Process Maps and for the DR & Scenario annual Testing execution across selected Sites.Drives operational risk gap closure through aligned mitigation strategies.Builds out effective contingency plans and Playbooks for hospitals and clinics which ensure continuity and minimal impact to their critical business operations.Decisions are guided by the BCM Risk Management framework, Mars Inc. 5 Principles and making a better world for pets; which Includes prioritization based on the Site / location / Region which has the most significant financial impact for MVH and the Global Petcare Enterprise.Adapts the Global Petcare BCM Strategy and priorities to align with the specific needs and focus areas of MVH and their Global Leadership Teams.Provides preparedness, contingency planning and resiliency guidance to BCM Leaders & Managers, Global and Regional functional colleagues and to the Leadership Teams.Reports Operational Risk and escalations to the governance forum within MVH, Petcare BCM LT & Petcare Operational Imperative SteerCo / forum each Quarter.
