Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for a Capital Engineering Leader based in Johnston, IA. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the capital project management team, to ensure the development and delivery of Corteva Seed Operations regional business unit program. Scope includes program planning, conceptual development, project planning, project management, and commissioning, at new or existing owned facilities What You'll Do: + Implement a comprehensive capital project management strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.. + Lead the project management team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects for Global Seed Operations. + Lead the end-to-end project management process, from project ideation to closure, ensuring adherence to best practices, methodologies, and project management standards. + Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimates, allocation and tracking throughout project lifecycle. + Identify potential risks and issues that could impact project timelines, budget, or outcomes and develop mitigation strategies. + Establish KPIs to track project performance and provide regular status reports to leadership. + Implement quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of project deliverables. + Facilitate effective communication and engagement with stakeholders to ensure project expectations are met. + Actively participate on the Global Capital Execution Leadership Team and contribute to the overall management of the department via strategic planning, assessing needs, setting goals, establishing direction, addressing issues and allocating resources. + Directly supervises multiple levels (Sr. Project Managers, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Engineering Technicians) to achieve capital and project execution goals. + 5-8 direct reports. + Directs activities of external collaborators, contractors, and vendors.
