NA Head of Cyber Security
Cognizant is seeking a Senior Leader for their North America Cyber Security Services team.
Experience
· Minimum 10+ years in senior leadership role
· Minimum 15+ years of complex solutioning experience, with broad technical experience
· Minimum 15+ years in in experience in assigned functional/technology area, with applicable market standard certifications
Preferred background:
· Senior leadership role in Cyber Security Services Industry; CSO experience, Cyber product experience, experienced in managing large global teams. Cross Industry experience, Track record of bringing products/offerings to market, as well as leveraging organizational capabilities to support offers/solutions
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for driving Industry leading cyber security area revenue growth.
• Define and Execute Integrated cyber security service offering across Cloud, Infra, Data, Edge and Application.
• Develop 3 year vision & executable GTM strategy for business growth through market insights & competitor trends.
• Market positioning of suite repeatable and scalable offerings aligned to business outcomes.
• Position Industry aligned evolving security offerings Ex: DORA.
• Develop differentiation through innovative commercial construct of Risk Reward and Outcome based models.
• Develop and Execute industry and account specific growth strategy(Scale Deep & Scale Up).
• Manage/direct translation of business problems into IT solutions & work with sales leads; assist sales team qualifying prospects.
• Accountable for end to end pursuit process including collaboration across services lines as required.
• Collaborate with Practice, Solution and offering team in positioning our differentiation.
• Engage with external analysts and advisor in enhancing our Market positioning.
• Collaborate with partner eco system to drive partner led GTM strategy and driving products to purpose.
• Define thought leadership & portfolio strategy, publish, educate the market and drive commercial conversations.
• Own alliance relations and partnership with vendors.
• Establish and develop new strategic alliances and partnerships to better business outcomes.
• Provide inputs for developing Product/IP led differentiation
• Enhance cross service line revenue stream
• Scale Up revenue density to high value Cyber services offering
• Scale Deep in existing account through Integrated offerings
• Scale Partner led revenue momentum delivering XaaS Model
KEY COMPETENCIES (includes knowledge / skills / abilities required for delivering the responsibilities effectively)
• Functional/Practice knowledge: Understanding of Cyber Security, user centric design; Build cross Service line offering across cyber; Understand Industry aligned compliance solutions
• Technical prowess: Deep technical expertise in Functional/Practice area to bring together practice offerings to address customer needs, and to create proof of concepts if needed, as well as credentialize solutions
• Industry knowledge: Deep knowledge of IT services/IT outsourcing globally; ability to communicate across stakeholders
• Commercial knowledge: Ability to analyze sales opportunities and qualify leads and opportunities; Develop unique commercial model of outcome and risk based model
• Executive Presence: Effective executive communication skills to clearly articulate vision and lead effective teams across the enterprise; productively challenge counterparts, bringing valuable insights
• Relationship management: Outstanding interpersonal abilities; skilled in managing relationships with executive leadership and business units, effectively aligning stakeholders to strategic plans and mediating conflict
• Leadership experience: Excellent organizational and leadership skills to build strong Strategy function and lead by example; strong project management, budgeting, talent management, and business operations skills
