NANA Shareholder Paid College Summer Intern TSPG Administrative and Project Coordinator

Under general supervision, performs standard and some advanced administrative and research duties, providing project support as needed and as directed by Akima’s Technology Solutions and Products Group (TSPG) leadership and program team.

As one of our NANA Shareholder interns, you will gain exposure to a wide range of business opportunities. You will also acquire critical insight into our company and our industries, as well as have the chance to develop valuable networking connections, which will help prepare and develop your skills for future career opportunities

NOTE: To be considered for this position, you must be a NANA Shareholder and own stock in “NANA Regional Corporation, Inc.” You must currently be enrolled in college or technical/vocational school.

Responsibilities

Assists with coordinating schedules and logistics for meetings (to include luncheons with clients and partners).

Performs general office duties as assigned by supervisor.

Applies initiative and independent decision-making skills to carry out ad hoc oral or written instructions.

Performs task-oriented audits in support of group level quality certification (ISO 9001:2015) maintenance.

Inputs data and make changes to existing data figures in digital databases.

Assists Project Managers and/or Project Controls with reviewing and/or compiling financial reports, monthly progress reports, and travel authorizations.

Performs basic research and provide reports on customers acquisition plans and budgets as well as on open-source competitive intelligence.

Researches and provides information and editing for proposal submissions.

Explores career types and opportunities at all levels throughout the organization.

Learns to present and process information using the Microsoft Office suite of tools.

Regularly presents what was learned to the TSPG executive leadership team as an opportunity to demonstrate understanding, practice public speaking, ask questions, provide feedback, and make connections.

Qualifications

Must be a NANA Shareholder and own stock in “NANA Regional Corporation, Inc.”.

Must be currently enrolled in college or vocational/technical school.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to understand and carry out both written and oral instructions.

Ability to work independently, self-motivated, proactive.

Ability to be discrete and protect confidential information.

Basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Possess strong written and oral communications skills, and the willingness and ability to learn to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
