**National Account Director Kaiser**
The National Account Director Kaiser will lead the successful execution of engagement strategies and managethestrategic customer relationships for Kaiser, provide critical input to the development of future strategies, and create a high performing Kaiser customer team.
This Position will be residence/field based within the state of CA.
**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
The primary responsibilities of this role, National Account Director Kaiser **,** are to:
**Execute Customer Strategy and Business** **Development**
+ Deliver and maintain profitable access, drive optimal funding of Bayer brands, advantageous policy, and appropriate reimbursement for Bayer products at Kaiser through commercialization of launch products and life cycle management of portfolio;
+ Attract and maintain best-in-class Kaiser Customer Team, and drive the refinement of competencies through internal developmental efforts;
+ Take full ownership and accountability for Kaiser ‘s outcomes. Create innovative business opportunities to drive profitable short and long term customer partnerships;
+ Develop deep enduring executive relationships across the Kaiser system, and align cross-functionally at Bayer;
+ Think and act strategically through joint customer planning, performance reviews, challenging the customer and establishing value for Bayer withKaiser;
+ Foster and Maintain executive level relationships with this Nationalcustomer.
**Internal Collaborating, Coordinating and** **Alignment**
+ Drive Kaiser strategy and initiatives with internal Contracting, Channel marketing, Brand Access Marketing, and BU teams;
+ Enable flow of customer insights to Channel Marketing, Brand Access Teams and Bus to enable better understanding of Kaiser dynamics and competitive trends that could impact profitable access;
+ Lead resource management: high level interactions with Medical teams, BU Brand team, and Legal to optimize customer opportunities;
+ Be Bayer’s Kaiser point person and manage strategy across the organization through coordination of key resource management: high level interactions with Medical teams, BU Brand team, et al, to optimize customer opportunities.
**Performance Management and Resource** **Allocation**
+ Meet departmental and brand expectations inclusive of stretch goals through appropriate resource management, strategic innovative thinking. Drive innovation through novel and best in class approaches;
+ Attract and maintain best-in-class management resources, and drive the refinement of Kaiser specialist competencies through internal developmental effort.
+ Identify and implement continuous improvement efforts and knowledge sharing initiatives among account teams to emphasize and disseminate best practices;
+ Provide strong negotiation capabilities, ability to delver value despite nominal differentiation.
**Delivering Profitable** **Outcomes**
+ Meet departmental and brand expectations inclusive of stretch goals through appropriate resource management, strategic innovative thinking. Drive innovation through novel and best in class approaches;
+ Understands the long term impact based on market dynamics now and in the future, and facilitates strategy, and plan implementation to produce long term profitable access while meeting short term key brand performance metrics;
+ Strong negotiation capabilities, ability to delver value despite nominaldifferentiation.
**WHO YOU ARE**
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
**Required Qualifications** :
+ Bachelor’s degree;
+ Experience in management roles in the pharmaceutical industry;
+ National account management experience or leadership experience within IDN or HP/PBM (required);
+ Experience in a supervisory role, or position leading a teamorteams(required);
+ Has in-depth understanding of how Kaiser operates and generatesrevenue;
+ Identifies future policies, practices and trends and with competition in the marketplace;
+ Consistently applies a business driver and marketplace focus when prioritizing actions with Kaiser;
+ Sees the big picture, constantly imagines future scenarios, and creates strategies to sustain competitive advantage for Bayer products;
+ Is a visionary with Kaiser and able to articulate credible scenarios and visions of possibilities with clear actionable plans;
+ Formulates a clear strategy and maps aggressive steps that will accelerate the organization toward meeting it’s strategic goals Ability to collaborate with Kaiser to strategically apply business practices and aligned strategies that will enable both organizations to meet business objectives;
+ Sets aggressive goals and has highstandards;
+ Pursues everything with energy, drive, and the need to finish. Always keeps the end in sight; puts in extra effort to meet deadlines and persists in the face of challenges and setbacks;
+ Strong capabilities in managing multiple complexresponsibilities/prioritization;

+ Uses customer insights to drive and guide development of new offerings, ability to translate and integrate into Bayer strategic initiatives;
+ Serves as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable long-lasting relationships;

+ Defines success in terms of the wholeteam.
+ Recognizes that leveraging each team member’s unique background and perspective is critical to achieving team goals;
+ Rallies others behind common team goals Places team goals ahead of own goals;
+ Valid Driver’s License and eligibility to drive a company car or pooled vehicle (driving record must meet guidelines base on the company’s Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers and MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening).
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ MBApreferred;
+ 12+ years of relevant industry experience;
+ 5+ years’ experience in Managed Markets(preferred);
+ 3+ years of National Account Management experience;
+ Experience executing market access strategies for National accounts, and exposure to contract development and negotiations for same.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $185,541 to $278,312. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
