The National Account Manager will be responsible for managing Macmillan’s relationship with retail eBook accounts, including Apple, NOOK, Kobo, Google, and Humble Bundle. At the National Account Manager level, they will be involved in pricing discussion and business development alongside the Associate Director, eBook Sales channel, and SVP Sales ops.
What you'll do:
Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled eBook price promotions on ONIX grid Retail and subscription account management, including but not limited to call prep, title presentations, list management, business reviews, and promotional nominationsParticipate in business development responsibilities, including contract review and discussions with legal and production
Work as primary eBook contact for Apple, Nook, Kobo, Humble Bundle, Google, and additional new accounts
Participate and prep discussion for regular sales and marketing meetingsWhat you'll bring:
Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and customer service skills Strong organization skills and attention to detail Proven ability to work independently on deadlines and manage time efficiently Able to perform basic analytic tasks in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and calculating percent change Proficient in Gmail, Google Sheets, and Google Slides Account Management experience Ability to multi task and prioritize Strong analytical and report breakdown skillsIdeal Experience:
3+ years in publishing and/or salesThis role will have an annual salary of $80,000-$90,000.
