Blood Hound locates ALL underground utilities and structures and offer a range of highly specialized subsurface utility services to significantly reduce your risk of costly damages and project delays and mitigate safety hazards for your crews and community.

Position Summary

The National Account Managers will ideally have a background in construction or a related field. They will be responsible for developing new business and growing existing relationships. Blood Hound offers a comprehensive suite of private utility locating and subsurface utility engineering (SUE) services to its diverse customer based composed engineering, environmental, utility, surveying, and other construction and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Assists in developing a business plan and sales strategy for new and existing markets that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitabilityPrepares & manages action plans for effective search of team sales leads and prospectsInitiates, coordinates and manages the development of teams action plans to penetrate new and expand existing marketsProvides timely and comprehensive coaching of all Business Development ManagersMaintains accurate records of all sales, coaching and leadership activitiesCreates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses as neededControls expenses to meet budget guidelinesEnsures that all sales activities (individually or team) meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, client calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closesCoordinates departmental customer interaction in terms of departmental accountability and follow-upSets examples in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habitsMaintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfactionAdheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the teamLiaison between the company and the customers for up-to-date condition on company pricing, service modifications, others changes or enhancements, and competition in the marketUnderstand marketing initiatives, new products, procedures, services and tools by attending departmental and training meetingsAttend association meetings, conferences and industry trade shows as representation of company

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred5-7 years of experience in sales and/or sales management preferredAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirementsWillingness to travel up to 50% and work in a team of professionalsProven leadership skills and ability to drive sales resultsVery strong organizational and time management skillsHigh level of verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with clients and co-workersWorking knowledge of Salesforce, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
