Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations (DOS), the National Account Specialist (NAS) provides essential operational support to National Account Managers (NAMs) to ensure the smooth operation of national account activities. The NAS plays a critical role in supporting the NAMs and ensuring the effective management of national accounts. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role requires a service-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Primary contact for all National Accounts from a service and sales operations position. Facilitate vendor agreements, supplier agreements, pricing negotiations and other contract requests. This is across both internal and external stakeholders. Resolve, Create & Implement operational solutions that solve crucial issues across our National accounts; this involves an innate ability to work cross-functionally across multiple departments. Create Monthly scorecard performance updates for National Accounts, and as needed for meetings. Offer Administrative support for all current and new National Accounts. Provide support for credit approval processes as needed. Address pricing inquiries and discrepancies promptly and effectively. Handle initial inquiries and resolution for store-related issues. Assist in organizing and facilitating monthly, quarterly, and annual account meetings.

Education And Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred. Previous experience in operations, sales or account management environment. Familiarity with contract management, compliance procedures, and program administration is advantageous. Experience analyzing and presenting data internally Novice experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Zoho) is a plus

 

Physical Demands/Work Environment

Repetitive movement of hands and fingers, typing or writing. Regular standing and walking. Reach with hands and arms. Talk and hear. Ability to work under tight time constraints, handle sensitive data and multi-task so that deadlines can be met.
