SCOPE

The National Accounts Manager will be responsible for increasing and maintaining the profitable sales of Heartland FPG’s products to Distribution Accounts. Responsibilities include increasing the product volume growth and mix penetration through the successful development of distribution programs and promotions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee and manage the current product listing, opportunities for new business and new product launches within this channel of businessEnsure relationships with key decision-makers for accounts that will provide new business are continuously developed and that those relationships are grown and strengthenedCross functional leadership within the organization to identify new opportunities Analyze business trends to develop business growth strategyMaximize volume and revenue by utilizing fact-based selling methodsActivate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performanceResponsible for annual sales targets as assignedDevelop monthly sales and demand forecastAchieve total best cost by limiting fines, buybacks, returns, etc.Ensure adherence to expense budgets and other company policies

QUALIFICATIONS

Walmart Luminate reporting experience preferredBS/BA degree and minimum of two years of sales experience or demonstrated success in other sales capacities.Excellent planning, oral, and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal, selling, and negotiation skills – ability to build and sustain multiple relationshipsA command of business analytics including computer literacy and finance/controlsAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to target and execute on new business opportunitiesAbility to lead cross functional teamWillingness to travel as neededAbility to proactively and creatively problem solveStrong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
