**Help shape the profession that shapes America's future!** Pearson is actively seeking National Board-Certified Teachers (NBCTs) and practicing educators who are currently working at least half-time and have at least three years of full-time teaching/counseling experience in a PK-12 setting at our Austin, TX location. We need educators who are currently teaching at least half-time in the following certificate areas: + **Generalist Early Childhood** + **Literacy: Reading-Language Arts** **Scoring Details:** + Scoring schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday + Scoring Location: 400 Center Ridge Dr, Austin, TX 78753 + Scoring Dates: July 2024 + Pay Rate - $25 per hour **What is a National Board Assessor?** National Board assessors score candidate responses to portfolio or assessment center exercises and are trained to look for evidence of a candidate's practice through the lens of the National Board standards. Assessors are compensated at an hourly rate of (plus any applicable milestones) for all training and scoring activities, and the regular work hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, for the duration of the project. **How to Apply** As only practicing educators and current National Board-Certified Teachers (NBCTs) are selected to assess the submissions, we could not complete our work without the help of our dedicated teacher participants.
