National Business Analyst (HYBRID)

General Description: The Commercial Lines National Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the business needs of the National Commercial Lines operations team, including Middle Market and Select lines of business.  THIS IS A NOT AN IT ROLE
Responsibilities:Contribute to the reporting processes for Commercial Lines and Select key productivity areas.  Work closely with National Commercial Lines and National Select teams to support various analyses, reporting, and presentations.Support regional Select Commercial Lines teams with book analysis and staffing model recommendations based on analysis.Prepare for and develop presentations for National Operations meetingsContribute to the development/enhancement of dashboards and automated reporting solutions.Improve data integrity within USI’s management system based on USI standards.Accountable for acquisition related tasks, including testing, reporting, and post conversion clean-up.Complete ad hoc reports and projects as assigned by National leadership.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  5 years of data analysis experience required.Property & Casualty knowledge preferred, but not required.Proven experience in working with and analyzing large volumes of data.Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines.Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.  Knowledge of Sagitta/WorkSmart preferred, but not required.  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products (PowerPoint, Excel & Word) required.Initiative to creatively and proactively offer solutions for reporting and analysis needs.Requires flexibility with work schedule; limited travel may be required.Ability to set priorities and manage project plan to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate completion of various integration processes.
Physical Demands:Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal noise and limited to no exposure to chemicals or toxins. Employees operate office equipment including telephone - headset, computer, computer monitors, keyboard, mouse, copier, scanner, and mail machine. Physical tasks of job include walking, sitting, standing, bending, and typing.
