**Description:**
Schnabel is seeking a vibrant senior management professional to lead business development and strategic marketing nationally for our growing Tunnels and Underground Business Unit. This individual will be responsible for identifying and developing new clients and project opportunities, providing senior level management of key clients and projects, managing strategic growth initiatives, strengthening strategic teaming, and participation in conferences and other industry events.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Research, identify, and track leads for new business opportunities
+ 20+ years' experience in Business Development and Marketing in the A&E industry
+ Maintain communication and routine engagement with clients, teaming partners, and industry specific professional organizations. Serve as point of contact for key relationships.
+ Work with team to develop strategic approach for technical proposals, statements of qualifications (SOQs), and letters of interest.
+ Attend conferences and industry functions for the purpose of building client and team relationships and representing the business unit.
+ Lead team to maintain business development information in company CRM system.
+ Understanding and communicate the value proposition of the Tunnels and Underground business unit while understanding business intelligence and our competitive advantages.
+ Manage team in development of significant proposal efforts.
**Required Skills/Experience:**
+ Ability to work effectively with leadership and business development teams as well as a wide variety of technical staff.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills. This position often communicates with technical professionals and teaming partners, both internal and external, and will represent the organization at industry events.
+ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to plan and manage multiple tasks.
+ Strategic market management and business planning tools that support continued growth.
+ Desire to proactively engage with potential clients to drive change and assist in solving problems while thinking “out of the box” to identify how to create sustainable
+ The candidate must be willing and able to travel nationally as needed to support business development activities, including client meetings, presentations, and conferences. This position requires approximately 25% to 50% travel to various locations nationally.
**Other Requirements:**
+ Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle records and credit check
+ Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
The compensation range for this position is between $185,850 to $275,000. Compensation for this position may vary based on geographic location and other factors. We remain committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation to all employees, regardless of their location.
