RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will be accountable for developing and delivering the overall business plan required to achieve the volume and net sales goals for the assigned portfolio. 

Champions the assigned categories and brands on a national basis across all channels and customers. Builds and allocates the volume objectives and trade budgets for the brands under their responsibility on a macro level and down to each customer. Is a champion and collaborator in supporting General Manager Customer Business Planning for the brands responsible. Leads the strategic planning process by collaborating with marketing to develop brand executional strategies that deliver top and bottom-line growth expectations through providing of brand, category, customer, market, and industry knowledge. Manages brand trade resources and investments to drive profitable growth. Manages the strategic planning process between the entire Retail sales organization including field directors, managers, customer executives, field sales strategy, and revenue growth management. Partners with sales to ensure alignment of brand and customer strategy through active participation and support of customer negotiation. Provides forecast on volume, trade and gross margin for respective brands to inform organizational outlook. Creates field ready Insights Driven sales solutions (category vision) that can be utilized/leveraged by the field teams to drive brand and category growth. Develops monthly to 18 month rolling volume forecasts & annual trade forecasts that are utilized by demand planning to support both the S&OE and S&OP planning process. Talent and career development of direct and indirect reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 4+ years of sales / marketing /s ales strategy experience. Strong analytical skills. Pattern of initiative. Highly developed interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment. Strong persuasive skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management skills. Ability to work independently. Strong leadership skills. Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States. Preferred

Sales experience across multiple sales channels. 5+ years of sales / marketing / sales strategy experience.

 

Location: Orange, CA

 

A comprehensive relocation package to the Orange, CA area will be offered, if required.

The base pay range is $99,000 to $156,000 per year; however, actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. 

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 10% of the time.
