National Construction Billing Manager

We are seeking an experienced National Construction Billing Manager to oversee billing operations for telecommunications construction projects across multiple regions within our Comcast footprint. This role requires a proactive leader with a deep understanding of telecom industry billing practices and the ability to manage operations on a national scale. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely billing processes, maintain compliance, and drive revenue optimization while collaborating with teams across various locations.

The Role

Manage the end-to-end billing process for telecom construction projects across multiple regions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client contractsEstablish and enforce standardized billing policies, procedures, and schedules nationwide to maintain efficiency and consistencyCollaborate with regional project managers, engineers, and contractors to review project scopes, budgets, and timelines for billing alignmentServe as the primary point of contact for resolving billing discrepancies or disputes across regions.Monitor and ensure compliance with national and regional regulations, client requirements, and company policies in all billing activitiesGenerate and analyze detailed billing reports across all regions, presenting trends, risks, and opportunities to senior leadershipSupervise and mentor a geographically dispersed team of billing professionals, fostering collaboration and professional developmentSet national team goals, monitor performance, and implement training programs to address knowledge gapsPartner with finance, accounting, and regional teams to align revenue recognition with national financial objectivesIdentify and implement opportunities to streamline national billing processes and improve cash flowTravel +/- 15% annually for onsite meetings, new market set ups, and various market needs Requirements 5+ years of telecom construction billing management or related construction billing management experiencePrevious experience with Comcast billing practices preferredStrong understanding of national billing practices, revenue recognition, and contract management within the telecom industryProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPS, creating reports, pivot tables, and using various formulas)Ability to learn and utilize role-specific equipment and softwareExceptional organizational, analytical, time management, and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOutstanding interpersonal and customer service skillsMaintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping relevant information confidentialValid driver’s licensePassing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
