The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a National Lead, Impact Campaigns. This position is remote.

 

The National Lead, Impact Campaigns will be a leader in national strategy and execution for our Leaders of Impact, Woman of Impact and Teen of Impact campaigns and have responsibility for the adoption, growth and success of these revenue streams.  This role will report to the Senior Lead of Impact Campaigns and will have three main areas of focus:

Lead the strategic development of our Leaders of Impact campaign nationally, through campaign management and oversight, continued product development, and strategy refinementStrategic coaching, training and support to staff and nominees across all three campaignsResource development across all three campaigns   

The role will include working closely with the national field development team, across national departments, and directors in the field ensuring the peer-to-peer campaigns strategically grow through new volunteer engagement and new revenue.

Responsibilities

 

Ensure consistent execution of best practice strategies to reduce variance of performance across markets and regions, with a focus on year-round campaign efforts.Provide excellent campaign analysis that uses lead indicators and data to drive performance. Analyze the performance and analytics of all nominee websites and social content to inform future direction.Evolve the campaign to ensure scalability and consistency to drive internal and external stakeholders - including sharing real-time reporting to drive internal activity, rolling out just-in-time trainings and reporting to ensure campaigns are on timeline and set up to produce their best results.Develop and lead training of the peer-to-peer campaigns for nominees, team members, and association staff (thinking through senior leadership to the director-level) including national training bootcamps, bi-weekly training and regional trainings.Create the best-in-class nominee and team member experience.Work with national team to determine, create and execute any national external events that train, convene, promote or celebrate the peer-to-peer programs.Determine and refine the local and national incentives for our nominees, should be campaign specific.Continued product and campaign development including updated and new tools for nominees and marketing assets for campaign promotion and recruitment. Partnering with marketing on digital and creative design for all people of impact campaigns and materials including imagery for the campaign, new case studies, promotional videos for the campaigns, materials for staff to use with nominees, social posts for all platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok, IG, YouTube), assets to feature nominees at core events, etc.Monitor and analyze external and internal trends and data in collaboration with the Center for Development Operations to develop benchmarks, standard methodologies, priorities and focus areas.Work directly with region consultants and markets to provide direct consultation and training including “in the field” training to model effective meetings.

 

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree or higherNine (9) years’ experience in a similar role or in a role leading a multi-million-dollar campaign with year-over-year growthFive (5) years of experience coaching and influencing internal leadership and staff to achieve goals and meet organizational objectivesProven record of success in corporate and individual giving, and peer to peer fundraisingFive (5) years of experience working with and leading volunteersAbility to thrive in a dynamic environmentSkilled in planning projects and working against deadlines to provide end productSkilled in campaign oversight and reportingAbility to travel overnight up to 40% Compensation & Benefits

Expected pay range will be $120,000 to $130,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.

Compensation – Our goal is to ensure you have a competitive base salary.  That’s why we regularly review the market value of jobs and make adjustments, as needed.

Performance and Recognition – You are rewarded for achieving success by merit increases and incentive programs; this position is incentive eligible based on achieving certain targets. We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets and triggers.

Work-Life Harmonization – The Association offers Paid Time Off (PTO) at a minimum of 16 days per year for new employees.  The number of days will increase based on seniority level.  You will also have a total of 12 paid holidays off each year, which includes several days off at the end of the year.
