CoStar is seeking a National Director of Residential Analytics to support our growing Homes.com division. Homes.com is reimagining the home search experience for consumers and agents alike. We empower people to discover homes, share insights, and make connections on their terms—disrupting a multi-billion-dollar industry. CoStar is seeking a National Director of Residential Analytics to join our growing analytics organization. The National Director will coordinate CoStar’s coverage of the residential real estate sector across markets and will play a leading role in creating analytic content using vast data from Homes.com.
The National Director is responsible for developing and implementing data-driven thought leadership and preparing analysis and commentary focused on the US residential sector. The ideal candidate possesses extensive residential real estate experience with quantitative and qualitative abilities to identify key themes relevant to the sector, both nationally and at a regional level.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify key themes and trends in the residential real estate sector and ensure that they are accurately delivered to and through the CoStar Market Analytics teamCultivate continuous innovation of analytic content for Homes.com and data visualizations to communicate important and interesting trends in residential real estateServe as CoStar’s subject matter expert on all residential real estate themes, trends, and topics; educate the broader CoStar Market Analytics team on housing market issues relevant to consumersCompose regular news articles highlighting residential real estate trendsReview local residential market content written by CoStar’s team of market analystsRepresent CoStar at US residential industry events and conferencesQUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree in economics, urban planning, real estate, or related field Ten or more years of residential real estate research experience, with a focus on US residential marketsDeep knowledge of the US residential real estate industry, its players, and its data sourcesBroad knowledge of major US residential marketsEffective and engaging presentation skills Strong analytical and writing skillsOVERVIEW OF COMPANY
