National Field Sales Trainer

**The Opportunity**
Abbott Rapid Molecular Diagnostics (RMDX) Infectious Disease **National Field** **Sales** **Trainer** will assist in the execution of training plans for field-based sales professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the education and preparation of our teams, including but not limited to Regional Sales Managers, Strategic Account Specialists, Enterprise Account Managers, Account Managers and Inside Sales Representatives. You will work in coordination with the Training Manager and Technical Training Manager to effectively coordinate and deliver content in training sessions and field co-travel. We are looking for an ambitious, organized and highly efficient expert with medical devices and/or successful diagnostic sales and training experience. Familiarity with point of care medical sales is also helpful for candidates considered for this position. We offer a generous compensation structure and a team-oriented environment.
**What You’ll Work On**
+ Ensure New Hire understanding of all key areas of product information, internal processes; including but not limited to Salesforce, Power BI and Definitive Healthcare
+ Assist Product Managers, Distribution Channel Managers, Office of Ethics and Compliance, Contracts and Pricing in implementing training programs for field team
+ Work with Meeting and Events Coordinator(s) to inform meeting participants of upcoming training events
+ Creates training schedules, learning tracks and creates reports on outcomes of all training, and maintains training records
+ Includes ordering/shipment of training workbooks
+ Includes ordering/shipment of training supplies at Harte Hanks
+ Includes entrance and exit exams and quizzes
+ Includes New Hire Metrics document
+ Assess New Hire retention of training sessions and material
+ Maintain all demo supplies for New Hire training, including ordering new supplies as needed
+ Field Travel with new hire and provide feedback to new hire and direct manager, make recommendations on areas of growth opportunities
+ Ensure New Hire is fully capable of territory management
+ Observe New Hire on a sales call demonstrating instruments, presentation skills
+ Keeps up to date on all product information, marketing strategies/initiatives in order to act as a key resource for New Hires.
+ Must provide product demo excellence capabilities on all key products to New Hires
+ Plan, schedule and conduct weekly/biweekly/monthly New Hire calls during first year of New Hire employment to ensure reinforcement of all key training topics, key processes such as Contracts and Pricing, answering questions and directing New Hires to appropriate resources
+ Work in partnership with assigned Field Coach to ensure New Hire is comfortable with training content, pace of delivered training and identify training needs and resolve gaps
+ Work with the Training Manager to identify unmet training needs and help create curriculum to facilitate the necessary training
+ High level of communication with Training Manager, Field Coaches and Regional Sales Managers to ensure New Hire training and development needs are met
+ Develop and maintain repository of required competency measures by National Field Trainer, including but not limited to exams, quizzes, certifications, role plays, projects and assigned video content
+ Develop creative ways to engage meeting participants for reinforced learning
+ Manage content in the learning management system, Allego, including Team video trainings, brochures, PDF files, playbooks, etc. Assigning these resources out to the field team as well as monitoring team access/completion.
+ Required to obtain certification on at least one Miller Heiman methodologies: Strategic Selling, SPIN Selling or Conceptual Selling.
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 5+ years’ experience in Medical or Diagnostics Sales
+ Ability to travel 50% of the time
+ Training or coaching experience preferred
+ Experience with or willingness to train on Allego LMS
+ Excellent leadership, organization, communication skills
+ Delivering effective virtual and in-person training experience preferred
+ Demonstrated ability to utilize internal resources, effectively plan and work within their national territory
+ Demonstrated excellent communication skills; ability to prepare effective written evaluations and recommendations for improvement
+ Ability to use creativity to maintain excitement and engagement around training classes/Teams meetings
+ Ability to administer and organize a learning management

The base pay for this position is $83,000.00 – $166,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
