 The National leader, Provider Education builds strategies for development, engagement, best clinical practices and processes for clinical community within the enterprise. The National leader, Provider Education works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

This role is embedded within the National Clinical Education team and falls under the Clinical Excellence Department of the Primary Care Organization.

This individual will serve as the face of provider education from onboarding to continuing education, interfacing between the learning teams, market clinical leaders and other stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Chief Clinical Learning Officer, the National lead for provider education will collaborate to develop and implement strategies, oversee the execution of high-fidelity educational programs, and ensure the seamless delivery of initiatives that enhance provider experience in learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution:

Collaborate with the Chief Clinical Learning Officer to develop and refine strategies for provider learning programs.

Translate strategic plans into actionable initiatives and oversee their implementation.

Identify barriers to execution, propose solutions, and drive results to meet organizational goals.

Program Management & Delivery:

Lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative provider education programs tailored to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.

Act as the primary point of contact for educators, other training teams and market partners to ensure smooth running of educational programs.

Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements based on feedback and outcomes.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, serving as the organization’s ambassador for provider education.

Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and other professional venues.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of learning programs with broader organizational initiatives including all clinical education.

Materials Development & Communication:

Prepare high-quality materials and presentations for internal and external audiences.

Provide updates and insights on program progress, challenges, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.

Support the Chief Clinical Learning Officer in crafting communications for key initiatives.

Qualifications

Clinical (RN, social work or other healthcare field) training or bachelor’s degree with healthcare leadership experience requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience in provider education, healthcare leadership, or a related role.A minimum of two years of project/people leadership experience.Proven track record of designing and delivering successful learning programs in healthcare or similar industries.Experience in strategy development and execution, with a focus on problem-solving and achieving measurable outcomes. Experience in a large, highly matrixed company, with proven ability to influence leaders and key stakeholders in such an environmentExcellent qualitative and quantitative analytic skills, with the ability to ask the right question to attack the root causes of problems to be addressedExcellent collaboration capabilities and high EQ; integrator, can connect the dots and understand how to optimize system-level processesData and evidence driven curious, quick learner, innovatorExperience in managing change by leading and energizing others, modeling adaptability, and inspiring strong organizational performance through periods of transformation, ambiguity, and complexityExcellent relationship-building skills and proven ability to work collaboratively through various departments and functional areas, promoting a culture of proactive teamworkExcellent oral and written communications skills, including the polish, poise, and executive presence that will ensure effective interaction with executive leadership and multiple types of audiencesThe ability to clearly explain complex ideas, clinical programs and technologies to clinical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with adult learning principles and healthcare education methodologies.Experience in learning management systems and learning design preferred.Clinical or operational leadership experience in the areas of Population Health Management, Practice Management, (VBC) Value Based Care and/or healthcare operations setting, preferably in Medicare Advantage programs.
