Purpose:

The National Marketing Director will be responsible for setting and implementing the marketing approach and strategy to effectively promote and sell Minto Canada’s new homes and condos across various geographies. This role will ensure alignment and consistency in marketing processes and leverage the expertise of advertising agencies to achieve optimal results.

In this role, you will:

Strategy Development:

Develop and implement a comprehensive national marketing strategy to promote new homes and condos.Conduct market research to understand market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape within each geographical area.Define target audiences and create tailored marketing plans for different regions.

Lead Generation and Conversion Tracking:

Develop and implement strategies for lead generation across all geographies.Establish metrics to track lead generation and conversion rates by region.Analyze lead data to identify trends and adjust marketing strategies to improve conversion rates.Collaborate with sales teams to ensure effective follow-up and nurturing of leads.

Cross-Functional Alignment:

Ensure alignment of marketing strategies and processes across all markets.Standardize marketing processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Agency Management:

Select and manage relationships with advertising agencies to develop and execute marketing campaigns.Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including digital content, print ads, and promotional materials.Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and provide feedback to agencies.

Performance Monitoring:

Set key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.Analyze campaign performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize marketing strategies.Prepare regular reports on marketing activities and results for senior management.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage the national marketing budget.Allocate resources effectively to maximize return on investment (ROI).Monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.

Stakeholder Communication:

Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders, including sales, product development, and executive teams.Provide regular updates on marketing initiatives and outcomes.Foster a collaborative environment to support overall business goals.

We would like you to have: 

Experience: A minimum of ten (10+) years of relevant work experience in marketing, including leading a team, with a focus on real estate, new homes, or condos.

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

Specialized Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies across multiple markets.Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.         Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and traditional advertising.Excellent leadership and project management skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsExperience working with advertising agencies and managing budgetsStrong experience and knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO, SEM)General understanding of the home building / construction industry would be an asset
