Downer R&TS provides maintenance services to operators across Australia, as part of that business we have developed industry leading digital solutions and best practice. 

The National Operational Data & Applications Manager will manage a team ensure that the digital solutions that are used at Downers Rollingstock Facilities are maintained and fit for purpose. This role will develop and deliver solution to enable continuous business development and improvement. It is also key that this role represents operational business with corporate and supported application development requirements where necessary.

About you:

Tertiary qualification in information technology or related technical area. Minimum of 3 years experience in a related information management field Proven experience in process/workflow automation, high level problem solving and innovative decision-making skills using MS Power Platform (Power BI, Power App, MS Flow) Demonstrated capability in managing a team to identify and deliver digital solutions, systems or processes. Demonstrated capability supporting digital hardware to ensure availability of reports and applications Undertakes monitoring of all site technology solution and ensure they are available to support day to day functions.  Seek opportunities to improve business outcomes and efficiencies through automation and reporting. Delivers to stakeholder expectations and conducts mentoring or knowledge transfer as part of change management process. Source required information from various TLS SME specialists such as engineering, maintenance, and procurement to develop solution requirements. Strong networking skill and ability to promote digital solution capability to internal and external stakeholders.
