The National Portfolio Program Manager, Oncology Nurse Educators, reports to the Director, US Oncology Nurse Education and Field Execution Strategy, a part of the Oncology Portfolio Marketing Team. The Oncology Portfolio Marketing is a pillar of the oncology franchise, working cross-functionally to help inform and enable brand strategy and maximize effectiveness across all U.S. Oncology Brands. The team is composed of several sub-teams and works alongside other components of the AbbVie Marketing Triad to ensure future success and preparedness. Portfolio Marketing is truly dynamic in nature, and the team operates across both Lake County and AbbVie Bay Area (PCYC) teams, necessitating substantial infrastructure and governance (ways of working) as well as process and training for its members to ensure preservation of alliance separations within the portfolio.
The National Portfolio Program Manager, Oncology Nurse Education Strategy & Field Execution is responsible for assisting with the development, implementation and execution of necessary infrastructure and process critical to the day to day function and growth of the team. This position enables organizational alignment, compliance, program and portfolio management, and stakeholder management to ensure optimal function and integration both within the team and across all portfolio brands. The candidate for this role is a leader that contributes to the strategic and tactical development of education initiatives for the nursing audience. This role will collaborate with multiple business units, internal stakeholders including Franchise Marketing, Sales, Field Force Effectiveness, Field tools and operations and most closely with brand to optimize Nurse Educator effectiveness and efficiencies. This position will not have external customer responsibilities but is expected to use previous external customer experience to help maximize performance. This role can be field based but will require time in the AbbVie HQ in Chicago.
Major Responsibilities:
+ Coordination and collaboration to create standard portfolio platform for field team operations across multiple brands/business units (allotment and integration with multiple partners and their respective operations)
+ Achieve alignment, operation and efficiency related to field tools, analytics and reporting with multiple partners
+ Operate from enterprise lens as a field team; training; day to day execution; compliance, tools, protocols, training
+ Responsible for management and coordination of various Nurse Educator support functions (training, compliance, day to day execution, parallel partner functions) and activities for the franchise Nurse team.
+ Integrate and clarify marketing strategies and enhance field execution strategy to maximize performance and alignment to brand strategies
+ Work cross-functionally with multiple business unit Sales Leadership/Management as well as various AbbVie field sales and analytic/support organizations to create, implement and optimize all necessary in-field team strategic initiatives.
+ Work with Brand Management and Operations teams to help the field Nurse team better understand their accounts and to optimize compliant engagement.
+ Develop and implement communication plan to ensure clear direction and understanding and to maximize morale and motivation.
+ Partner with legal and Office of Ethics and Compliance to ensure compliance of all activities and explore benchmarking against other ONE networks to continuously evolve ways of working
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree required, nursing degree preferred
+ Minimum of 2 years of pharma industry experience required, oncology experience strongly preferred
+ Previous field team leadership experience preferred
+ Consistent top performer
+ Advanced analytical, communication and presentation skills
+ Ability to examine business environment and develop/execute strategies to enhance performance and engagement
+ Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent prioritization and organizational skills
+ Innovative thinker

+ The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

Salary: $117,500 - $223,500
