National Safe Deposit Box Team Analyst - East
As a SDB team member, you will be part of a two-person team responsible for performing the safe deposit box audit and drill process at branches located within any of the Chase retail branches. The SDB team members should be flexible and are expected to work independently to resolve outstanding issues. This position requires substantial travel. All candidates should expect to work in different branches Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time with a great deal of physical activity. Most branch inspections require week-long trips, overnight stays or daily commutes to a different market. You should expect to travel from early Monday morning departures to late Friday evening arrivals home. **Job Responsibilities:** + Plan, coordinate and perform SDB vault inspections, audit/data validation of SDB records and accounts, SDB drills, and other SDB-related tasks + Maintain a current branch visit schedule and complete all assigned branch inspections within required timeframe + Maintain accurate and complete documentation and follow up on all items through completion + Keep current on safe deposit box product, related branch procedures and policies, and SDB Team procedures and policies + Execute certain audit and drill processes in dual control (fully engaged during drills or when accessing a safe deposit box and handling of found or customer contents) + Collaborate with your partner to complete Audit workbook, system entries, required documentation/online reports and ensuring all legal documents are 100% accurate and timely + Take ownership of self-development, including stretch assignments, to prepare for greater responsibilities and career growth and take initiative to seek out opportunity for continued learning + Travel to and work from different Chase branches (100% of Time) + Maintain punctual and professional representation in appearance and communication with branch staff, customers and vendors + Book travel, submit expense reports and adhere to corporate and department Travel & Expense policies and Code of Conduct + Complete other duties/tasks as assigned **Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills** : + Must obtain and maintain state required registrations and licenses. For notary states, must be or become a notary within 6 months of hire date, as required + Strong communication (oral and written) with high degree of comfort coaching branch employees of all job levels and interfacing with people at different levels within the organization and various locations + Risk, control and procedure oriented + Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills + Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advance expertise in Excel, and adept in utilizing Adobe Professional for effective document management + Ability to remain flexible and productive through shifting priorities, travel arrangements and branch staff availability + Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision needed + Must possess a high level of attention to detail, demonstrating the ability to meticulously identify and rectify errors **Physical Requirement:** + Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance + Ability to frequently climb stairs repeatedly throughout the day + Ability to use hardware tools, such as a screw driver **Travel Requirement:** + Ability to travel as required for in-person branch inspections which may include traveling out of state + Must have a valid Driver's License (ability to rent and drive a car when out of town) and ability to get between branches in your home location (personal car or subway) + Must have a working cell phone that will be a point of contact, personal laptop is a plus **Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills** : + Prior Banking/Branch experience using Customer Assist + Experience with booking travel and some independent travel history is a plus Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America's households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
