Job Summary
Has ownership for "top line" revenue of On Call International, with direct management responsibility of Regional Sales Directors to increase outbound sales efforts and obtain new clients while thinking strategically about the business to ensure new markets and new channels are penetrated effectively. Working with the Senior Director of Sales and Marketing, develops sales plans with key performance objectives and timelines to achieve sales targets and then implements the sales plan in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing team with an eye towards market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to position On Call for continued growth. In addition to hitting performance targets, recruits, trains, and supports internal salespeople to further the sales objectives laid out by the management team as well as manage external sales relationships both with outside sales agents as well as the Regional Sales Director team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.Direct implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.Ensure communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives, and meet organizational expenditure requirements in collaboration with Marketing.Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.Build, develop, and manage sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.Proactively engage prospects in thinking strategically about solutions for their business challenges that result in additional sales of products and services.Manage, develop, and oversee the organizations sales team and programs for company growth and revenue to include designing, implementing and managing sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes, while working with other leaders in the organization.Work with the Director of Product Development to develop sales strategies, proposals, presentations to generate sales leads, and acquire new business in order to achieve company goals and objectives.Work with the Director of Product Development to develop the presentation of proposals and pricing for new products and services to clients.Lead new business development and strategic planning for the organization.Responsible for collaborating with internal resources in sales acquisition and profitability determination.Align sales goals and product development with operational capabilities to ensure controlled growth.Lead price quoting efforts, developing price standards, pricing models, and price increases, benchmarking against competition.Understand the company's goals and direction and identifies potential clients.Attend trade shows and conferences in order to further relationships with existing clients as well as educate the marketplace.Partner with the leadership team to identify opportunities for sales process improvements and new business opportunities and is expected to work with the leadership team to grow the business.Requirements
4 Year / Bachelors in Business, a related field, or the equivalent Degree education and/or experience10 years relevant and progressive experience in area of specialization6 years of leadership experience minimum
