As National Sales Manager, you will be part of a high caliber, achievement driven sales team, who shares a strong belief in helping our customers to improve patient care and outcomes through the use of our products. You will be responsible for the strategy and management of your sales area (Belgium & Luxembourg), the leadership of your team as well as sales/turnover and cost so that optimized customer service and acquisition of new customers is guaranteed.

What you will do:
In your new role, you will start with a familiarization phase to learn about our portfolio and build relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
As National Sales Manager, you will manage, lead, and motivate a high performing team (11 direct reports) – supporting and driving them strategically and tactically to accelerate business through the Joint Replacement portfolio.
Coach and develop your team to achieve their full potential.
Exceed & deliver against the quarterly and yearly business budget whilst managing equipment utilization, recurring revenue pipeline development alongside accurate forecasting vs. budget.
Accompany important price negotiations, contract conclusions, as well as larger product workshops together with your team.
Build up a network with important key customers, decision-makers, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
Understand and utilize market dynamics to support business acceleration, taking a creative approach to new business development for both current and future technologies.
Provide solutions for customers and KOLs, adding value to the Sales process – resulting in winning business and positive customer experience.
Collaborate with enabling function teams such as contracts & pricing, compliance, customer service and finance, to ensure smooth order to cash process is maintained and our customers receive the highest levels of service.
Collaborate with Sales Managers of other divisions of Stryker towards a common strategy and cross-departmental opportunities.
What you need:
Required:
8+ years of sales experience.
A degree or equivalent.
You have already proven your leadership skills in successfully managing a sales team.
You hold strong negotiation skills and persuasiveness, and your personality makes it easy for you to inspire and motivate others.
You can demonstrate success in expanding a sales region and in delivering exceptional results both personally and through teams.
You possess sense of responsibility, organizational skills and commercial acumen with a strategic approach to business planning.
Impeccable ethics and use integrity in ensuring the delivery of Stryker’s mission of making healthcare better.
Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English and in either Dutch or French (if you speak both Dutch and French, it’d be an advantage).
You hold a valid driver’s license. Since this position requires customer interactions in the field, you have flexibility to travel in the region (travel percentage of 50%).
Preferred:
Sales experience in industries such as MedTech, BioTech, healthcare or related would be highly preferred.
Educational background in fields such as business administration, economics, medical technology, healthcare, sciences or any other relevant areas would be preferred.
Orthopedics/anatomy knowledge is not mandatory, but it is an advantage.
