The National Sales Manager is responsible for managing a team of high-functioning Account Executives and a Sales Coordinator, while crafting and communicating sales collateral with strong positioning. You will also be responsible for exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets, and pulling together a comprehensive proposal or campaign demonstrating IGN’s 360 media solutions:Digital mediaSponsorshipsCross-platform solutionsBranded contentSocial first programsInfluencer programsEvents/ExperientialCommerceThis position is based in Los Angeles and reports directly to the VP Sales, Games & Entertainment.Key Responsibilities:Cultivate new and strengthen existing agency and client direct relationships to build awareness and demand for IGN offerings in the marketplace.Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets.Foster a creative and consultative sales approach when working with clients and agency partners to deliver innovative solutions that produce measurable resultsAct as company representative at external conferences and meetings to drive additional opportunities.Travel to company events as needed; attend sales calls and provide feedback to develop Account Executives’ and Sales Coordinators' growth.Job Qualifications:1-3+ years experience being the primary sales representative for a designated territory, managing and training a sales team, and achieving/exceeding annual and quarterly revenue targetsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceHigh volume/high activity sales experience, preferably in a growth environmentStrong client and agency relationships across key gaming and entertainment accounts (gaming software, peripherals, hardware, entertainment studios, streaming partners, etc.)Knowledge of the gaming and entertainment industry, including experience working with brands like PlayStation, Xbox, Activision/Blizzard, Warner, Disney, Paramount, Amazon, Netflix, and more.Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and maintain a positive demeanor in stressful situations, including challenges, deadlines, cross-departmental work, and financial pressure.Excellent presentation and negotiation skills Organized, creative, and goal-orientedOur Culture and Values:At IGN, we believe diversity stimulates creativity, promotes the exchange of new ideas, and enriches our personal and professional lives. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The base pay for this position ranges from $70K to $100K, plus incentive compensation (for eligible roles only), 401K with company match, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, short and long-term disability, and a flexible time off policy.
