National Sales Manager

JOB DUTIES:  

Sales Strategy and Execution:

Develop and define a comprehensive sales strategy to target end users, A&D firms, and contractors in the data center sector. Work closely with regional sales teams to implement and execute the sales strategy, ensuring alignment and consistency across different regions. Identify new business opportunities, actively pursue sales leads, and create strategies to convert leads into long-term partnerships. Deliver on business goals, meeting or exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within end-user organizations, A&D firms, and contractor companies. Serve as the primary point of contact for these clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Collaboration and Coordination:

Collaborate with regional sales managers to ensure the effective implementation of sales strategies and support their efforts in targeting the data center segment. Facilitate communication and coordination between regional teams and other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded. Provide leadership and guidance to regional teams, sharing best practices and market insights to drive overall success.

Market Development:

Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the data center space. Identify and attend relevant industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our solutions.

Reporting and Analysis:

Track and report on sales activities, pipeline development, and performance metrics. Provide regular updates to senior management on market conditions, client feedback, and opportunities for growth. Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address these areas.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

Demonstrated ability to achieve business results  Technical skills in strategic planning and sales planning  Strong customer orientation  10+ years previous sales experience within the flooring industry  Bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing or related field   MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred   Expertise in National Accounts, sales business development and project management  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills  Employee training and development  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  

Occasionally push, pull, carry, and lift 20 - 50lbs.  Occasionally will be walking, standing, stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping and repetitive movements  Frequently will talk, hear, read, write
