The position will report to the Country Manager Diabetes Care Greece & Cyprus. The role will require regular travelling across Greece as part of job requirements and will be based in Athens. **Main purpose of the job:** To provide Sales team with the leadership, direction & coaching to ensure sales targets are achieved, with great cross-function collaboration in order to execute commercial strategy for ADC Greece. **What You'll do:** + Understand Abbot Diabetes Care customers’ needs, market dynamics and business operations. + Achieveannualsalesplanandnewpatients'targets as well as digital ecosystem KPIs. + Full people management responsibility for the Sales team (defines departmentsobjectives,responsibilities of team and personal goals; set’s high standards for team development, provides regular coaching & leads with impact). + Identify & ensure the effective implementation of World Class commercial Excellence programs & principles. + Support withpricing, conditions, creditterms as necessary with approval from country manager & business. + Collect market insights to present regularly to country manager and management team. + Reviewpromotionalplanswith Marketing team andensuresales team resources are planned and allocated. + Continue to maintain and update business knowledge by studying regularly product training materials and marketing materials. + Inspire and motivate the Sales Team to achieve the organization 's strategic intent, vision and goals. + Create and sustain the organization and structure needed to support our people and business strategies. + Ensure compliance with all relevant Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental legislative requirements, Abbott policies and procedures and serve as a role model. **Required qualifications & background:** + University degree in life sciences, business administration or related field. + Minimum 5 years of people management experience. + Sales experience in an international & dynamic environment. + Prior experience in pharma/healthcare sales is highly desired. + Knowledge of diabetes care portfolio would be a strong asset. + Highly communicative, team player and results oriented. + Ability to act proactively with an innovative & problem solving mindset. + Adaptable to change in internal or external environment. + Excellent English (both written and spoken), Greek native speaker. + Strong PC Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point). + Driving license.
