National Sales Representative - Power Sports

ActionLink is seeking National Sales Representatives who will drive monthly sales goals for our client’s Power Sports products while serving as a technical expert in product assembly, customer issue resolution and merchandising. This role combines hands-on mechanical skills with sales skills to deliver end-to-end support for retail partners and at-home customers.  The primary focus is achieving revenue targets while balancing in-store execution, technical support, and customer satisfaction.  This role requires extensive travel (39 weeks annually).

Gear up for Success and Take it on the Road:

Sales & Revenue execution by meeting monthly sales targets through consultative selling at partner retailers.Process "sell-in" orders using ActionLink systems while monitoring stock levels to prevent shortagesIdentify upsell opportunities through product knowledge of client's power sports lineTechnical support & resolution involves 90% + of mechanical issues onsite for min-bikes, go-karts, golf carts and gas-powered equipmentConduct at-home customer visits for complex assembly/troubleshooting (50 visits/month max)Train store associates on basic maintenance and warranty processesMerchandise products using planograms and safety-compliant displaysSubmit daily reports via mobile device on sales metrics, inventory needs, service resolutions and customer feedbackCoordinate with project managers to address supply chain delays impacting salesAchieve 4.8/5+ average satisfaction scores across retail and at-home services.Document technical solutions for ActionLink knowledge base.Adhere to the guidelines of the ActionLink Travel & Expense Policy as travel is required.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent; technical/sales certifications in small engine repair or power sports preferred3+ years of combined experience in retail sales, mechanical troubleshooting (mini-bikes, go-karts, golf carts) and customer serviceValid driver's license with clean record and ability to transport tools/partsExcellent interpersonal communication and relationship building skillsBasic proficiency with mobile devices and reporting systemsProficiency with Excel for inventory tracking and basic reporting

Physical Requirements:

Able to travel extensively by vehicle (39 weeks annually)Have and maintain a valid driver's license and able to rent a car under ActionLink's corporate insurance standardsUse a mobile device for reporting purposesMobile and able to sit and/or stand for a minimum of six (6) hoursAble to lift 75 lbs.Basic understanding and ability to use hand-held and power tools
