National Sea Logistics VinLog Development Manager

Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our West Area is looking for a new National Sea Logistics VinLog Development Manager to join our Sea Logistics team. **Your Role** As a Business Development Manager, you're a strategic consultant with the ultimate responsibility to understand our customers’ needs and requirements in proposing solutions that add value and build long lasting partnerships. You'll demonstrate an active hands-on and collaborative approach to quickly establish credibility both internally and externally within your assigned accounts and responsibilities. **Your Responsibilities** + Engage with the customer and Vinlog accounts network to develop strong relationships. + Define strategic approach on value proposition & solution as well as the internal and external positions of VinLog on RFQs & tenders; partnering with our business units to deliver attractive pricing and service. + Increase the footprint of business and solutions with assigned customer(s), ensuring an attractive and sizeable pipeline and high closing ratio. + Align and update customers on customer strategy and priorities; adjusting our value proposition; offering continuous improvement and innovation. + Ensure true global customer representation, collaborating with related overseas networks and exchanging best practices and sales leads. + Monitor volume, profitability, pipeline, overdues, and ensure immediate actions in case of deviations (i.e. timeliness/accurate reporting). + Transition new business into operations to ensure that customer requirements and the commitments of VinLog are met. **Your Skills and Experiences** + 2+ years of business development experience (hunting/farming), preferably within the logistics and supply chain industry. + Knowledge of Beer, Wine, Spirits (BWS) sector preferred. **Good Reasons to Join** At Kuehne+Nagel we strive daily to inspire, empower, and deliver not only to our customers, but also to our colleagues. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
