We are seeking individuals who have worked in an industrial/service/sales environment to fill the position of National Service Engineer for our Fredericksburg location.
Job Description
The selected candidate will:
Evaluate new item/parts or our products for feasibility in respect to use, handling, servicing, maintaining, function and practicalityAssist Technical Service Support and Product Management departments in finding alternatives and solutions to problems.Assist in inspecting and evaluating defective items returned under warranty.Instruct and supports Training Department for Kaeser service and maintenance schools.Assist with performing compressor performance test in the field and in-house.Provide technical assistance to Branches, Distributors and customers as required.Provide telephone and email troubleshooting support to the Technical Service Support departmentExtensive travel to the jobsite – 30% or more Responsible for learning and following all applicable procedures and work instructions relating to the Company’s quality and environmental system.Performs all other duties assigned by the Manager.Required Qualifications
The successful candidate’s background will include:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferredExtensive hands-on and practical experience in the air compression industry or a minimum of 3 years’ industrial equipment mechanical aptitude. Extensive experience reading mechanical blueprints and electric diagrams.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record requiredGood communication skills/phone skills requiredComputer skills, including proficiency in Google WorkspaceSAP experience preferredRegular physical attendance at the worksiteWe offer a competitive salary, excellent benefit package including Profit Sharing and 401(k) Plan as well as a Rooftop Café, an on-site exercise facility, free exercise classes and a health and wellness program.
