National Sourcing Manager
We are looking for a National Sourcing Manager to manage projects in the nation for our 3PL vertical. If you have successful 3PL (Third-party Logistics) sourcing experience and are motivated by being a key player in warehouse start - up and existing projects consider joining Kuehne+Nagel in Atlanta, GA. Your Role This position will include all steps of the procurement process from identification of savings potential to bidding, negotiation, awarding and implementation with direct communication with vendors and in-house stakeholders. General responsibilities include project management in various spend categories. Your Responsibilities Support the\r\n operations with all their Racking, Material Handling Equipment, Packaging and\r\n IT categories procurement needsCoordinate\r\n and guide all Material Handling Equipment, Racking and Packaging\r\n operations activities within the country and branches and secure alignment\r\n with procurement strategy Supplier Relationship\r\n Management SRM of Racking, Material Handling Equipment, Packaging and IT SuppliersManage\r\n suppliers and contract relations for Racking, Material Handling Equipment,\r\n Packaging and IT including performance measurement and improvement plans\r\n (e.g. contract renegotiations, price indexation etc.)Highlight\r\n any KN issues of non-compliance within Contingent LaborMain\r\n contact for external service providers for national issues.Handling of\r\n all Major issues and escalation with Racking, Material Handling Equipment,\r\n Packaging and IT suppliers and issues within the set limitsIdentify specific sourcing opportunities and\r\ntheir potential financial impactHelp gather key business requirements, data and feedback in vendor selection\r\nprocessPrepare & solicit quotes or competitive bids from vendorsLead supplier selection and negotiate vendor pricing and contractsOversee\r\npurchase order activities and ensure compliance with procurement policies and\r\nprocedures Assist in qualifying new vendors prior to vendor set-upEnsure that preferred vendor pricing, service levels and agreed upon terms are\r\nbeing honored by vendors in transactions Manage vendor relationships and serve as a point of escalation for\r\nstakeholders Assist\r\nin the development and implementation of procurement plans, policies and\r\nproceduresDocument and communicate procedures for all sourcing processesIdentify and implement process improvement, savings opportunities and\r\nsustainability targetsTrack and report procurement metrics

Your Skills and Experiences A Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent work experience 3 – 5 years of experience in Racking, Material\r\nHandling Equipment, Facilities management, Contingent Labor, and indirect procurement spend category3+ years of experience with Project Management3+ years of Logistics and 3PL experiencePreferred qualifications include strong organizational, communication, collaborative, and interpersonal skills to effectively foster respect and teamwork with both internal and external partners Good Reasons to Join There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
