This position is responsible for the connectivity and integration of computer, machine hardware and software, as well as the development upkeep of integration standards and processes.

Develop and maintain expert status of, Cut Rite and all other softwares required for proper machine integration Create, execute and maintain seamless integration between suppliers of software and computer hardware and machinery controllers Achieves and maintains “Expert” status on software and integration issues Responsible for software support to on-site integrators as well as customers, bringing problems and questions to fast and efficient resolution Trouble shoot problems/issues for customers and onsite integrators, resolve Software Integration/vendor support issues Perform onsite software integrations and installations Train, mentor and advise new and existing employees on software integration products, services, and practices Assist with the educational aspect of software and software integration for customers as well as other team members Work with the development teams to resolve current issues and plan for future software development. Assist with product training, machinery demonstrations, and development of Help Files and Software Documentation (creation and maintenance) Act as direct liaison to software suppliers to resolve technical issues and address development concerns Coordinate and participate in demonstrations to enhance machine and systems sales Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

College and/or Technical Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Software Engineering/Programming/Development Advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies as they relate to the woodworking industry Software and Integration Troubleshooting experience Minimum of five years of previous professional experience in the software, woodworking or a related field Minimum of five years of previous professional experience with Cut Rite or similar software   SKILLS AND ABILITIES MS Office Suite Cut Rite, Homag IX Ability to multitask Adaptability to changing priorities Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong administrative skills Self-starter and self-reliant Excellent problem solving skills
