The Gas Management Services team is an exciting and dynamic group that is integral in contributing to the overall success of Energy Services at Enbridge Gas. The team has accountability for achieving revenue targets, operational perfection, and customer service excellence. It ensures that natural gas flow requests are met daily on a timely and accurate basis for all Enbridge Gas customers and suppliers at the Dawn Hub and various pipelines.

In this role as a Natural Gas Scheduler, you will gain an understanding of the natural gas market, coupled with the opportunity to interact and develop relationships with numerous Enbridge Gas departments and customers.

What You Will Do

Issue and confirm natural gas flow requests for Enbridge Gas customers, suppliers, and pipelines.

Validate daily gas flows on Enbridge Gas Inc. transmission pipeline interconnects, storage facilities and third-party transmission pipelines.

Prepare accurate monthly activity statements for customers used for invoicing and verification of Enbridge’s gas supply and transportation invoices.

Respond to inquiries from pipelines, suppliers, and customers.

Ensure any discrepancies are resolved in a timely and professional manner.

Develop and maintain positive business relationships with customers, agents, marketers, and interconnecting pipelines.

Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to Gas Management Services Analysts, customers, and stakeholders.

Who You Are

Hold a college diploma and/or university degree; business or engineering degree preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills with an attention to detail and accuracy.

Proven understanding of PC applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Web browsers) required.

Ability to quickly learn information technology systems used to enable Gas Management Services business processes is an asset.

Proven ability to work under tight deadlines is desired.

Two or more years of previous scheduling experience or comparable industry would be an asset.

Working Conditions

Availability and willingness to work day and evening rotations including weekends and an on-call schedule. Sample rotations: day (8:00 am-5:00 pm), evening (2:00 pm – 11:00 pm), weekend (9:00 am – 11:00 pm).
