The successful candidate for this position will have the opportunity to join UTA during an exciting period of growth and contribute as the university broadens its impact. **Job Summary** Review and evaluate Public Water Systems (PWS) data related to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Ground Water, Revised Total Coliform, Chemical, Surface Water and Public Notice (PN) rules. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Review and evaluate Ground Water Rule, Revised Total Coliform Rule, Chemical Rule, Surface Water Rule PN data. + Review data submitted by PWSs and laboratories. + Identify systems with violations. + Provide technical assistance related to Revised Total Coliform Rule and other needed areas to Public Water Systems. + Work with the team to create/review/revise documents. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree with one (1) year experience in data analysis, environmental quality management, public utilities, business administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted as appropriate. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with databases and reviewing technical documents. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Excellent communication skills. + Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Word and Excel; and PC’s. + Knowledge of database entry. + Ability to integrate complex concepts, procedures, and processes. + Ability to communicate verbally with clients, customers, coworkers to gather information and/or explain policies and procedures. + Ability to work under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. **Other Requirements** **Working Conditions** **Special Conditions for Eligibility** **CBC Requirement** It is the policy of The University of Texas at Arlington to conduct a criminal background check on any applicant who is under final consideration for employment with the University. **EEO Statement** It is the policy of The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA or The University) to provide an educational and working environment that provides equal opportunity to all members of the University community.
