THE WORK
As a member of Trident Navigation Training, you will develop and sustain Strategic Weapons System \(SWS\) Navigation Electronic Technician curricula\. Curricula development combines a fundamental understanding of both Inertial and Non\-Inertial components found in the Navigation Subsystem and incorporating that understanding into an effective training product\. Curricula sustainment is used to enhance existing training based on feedback received from the Fleet\.
Primary responsibilities of Trident Navigation training are as follows:
\-Design, develop, and revise instructor\-led, self\-paced, and virtual learning curricula\.
\-Plan and execute Course Outline of Instructions \(COI\) as a roadmap for course development\.
\-Develop training aids and write story boards personalized to US Sailors\.
\-Identify fleet knowledge gaps and discuss training solutions to address these concerns\.
\-Prepare instructional materials from technical source data\.
\-Create and update lesson plans, trainee guides, and presentation materials for both classroom and laboratory environments\.
\-Attend Consolidated Support Ship \(CSS\) Validation events in port and at\-sea

You are a Sr\. Navigation Customer Trainer who understands the importance of cybersecurity and our national defense\. You can work independently or with a team\. You have excellent communication skills and are interested in continuous improvement\.

**Basic Qualifications:**
\- Able to work independently with direction or as part of a team\.
\- Must be a fast learner and able to perform independently in a dynamic environment\.
\- Prepare and present training materials\.
\- Familiarity with Microsoft office tools \(PowerPoint, Word, Project, Excel\)
\- Ability to sail on surface ship for up to 14 days\.
\- Ability to work occasional weekends, second shift, and/or third shifts
**Desired Skills:**
\- Self\-motivated, leadership skills, and willingness to take on new responsibilities\.
\- Understanding U\.S\. Navy processes and command structure
\- Familiarity with Strategic Systems Programs documentation
\- Previous teaching or curriculum development experience, especially with SP205 or Submarine Learning Center\.
\- Experience with task\-based curriculum development
\- Public speaking
\- Experience in Identifying training needs
\- Experience in developing and implementing training
programs
\- Project management and organizational skills
\- Ability to conduct in\-depth research in a rapidly changing environment
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
